Elderly couple called and requested someone to replace a fluorescent light bulb in their kitchen. Husband recently had surgery and wife is not able to climb ladder to change bulb.

Young adult, working 32 hours per week, was recently diagnosed with a medical condition that can not be treated in the state. Arrangements have been made to travel to see a specialist in Denver on June 10th. The individual is covered under the parent's insurance and the hospital has arranged for lodging at a discounted rate. At this point, it is uncertain the length of stay or the number of visits the condition will require. The request is for help with the cost of gas - approximately $250.00 for travel both ways. If you are able to help with the purchase of a gas card or any portion of one, please make your check out to My Neighbor in Need and indicate on the memo line that it is for a gas card. Family, owning their own trailer, was given a refrigerator. It is no longer keeping a proper temperature for food storage.

Newlywed couple with 3-month old child was living in friends' basement but had to move due to flooding. They have secured an apartment and friends and neighbors have provided furniture and kitchen supplies. Their need is for a couch and for a gift card from Albertsons for groceries and baby supplies as all their funds have gone towards security deposit and rent.

Individual living on a fixed income needs a couple of kitchen chairs, some pots & pans and towels and washcloths. He currently has a few furnishings for a trailer home he owns, but can really use some help with furnishing it with the necessities. If you could help this individual with any of these items, it would be appreciated UPDATE: Good Deed Doer contacted me this afternoon and offered kitchen chairs! Thank you ever so much! The remaining needs are pots and pans and some linens - towels, etc.

Working Mom is in need of a tire for her car. She has not been able to afford a replacement but is concerned about running on the spare. A donor has come forward offering to pay O K Tire $33.00 toward the total cost of $100.00. If anyone can pay either the rest of the cost or a portion of it, please make out the check to O K Tire at 116 E Main. Once the tire is paid for, the tire will be provided to her. UPDATE: received a call from a lady who has offered to pay $50.00 toward the purchase of a tire! That leaves $17.00 more needed to fulfill this entire need! Thank you so much to the Good Deed Doer who is willing to help!

UPDATE - SEE BELOW; Neighbor in Need - Disabled individual is moving from a trailer to a single-level subsidized apartment. She has a minimum of furniture, some boxes and an older large tv that she needs help moving. She could also use some assistance in packing. The apartment will be available by May 3rd. If you can help her please let us know. Thank You. We have several volunteers that have offered to help but we could always use some more hands to make the work lighter!

A disabled individual with little income has recently moved to an efficiency apartment. He doesn't need much furniture - two kitchen chairs - but he could use a toaster and a few pots and pans. He also needs some towels and bedding. If you have some extras, this would be a great help to him. UPDATE; Delivered some towels, pot holders, pots & pans to this person on Saturday. Thank you so much! UPDATE: Received a 2nd call this morn. and donor offered 2 chairs and bath towels, etc. so - Need has been Filled!

Neighbor in Need - Elderly lady, with multiple health issues, needs to elevate her legs every day. Her current chair is broken and she does not have the funds available to purchase a new one. She is in need of a used/working electric reclining/lift chair. A used working chair would be great or if several generous donors went in together, perhaps we could provide her with a new chair. If you have a used chair our Good Deed Doers would be happy to pick it up and deliver it to her. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Disabled individual discovered her freezer in the basement had stopped working. She has discarded the contents but because the freezer has no drain, she needs help pumping out the water and carrying it upstairs to discard. She has a pump to attach to her electric drill but needs help with this process.

Neighbor in Need - Single Hard working Mom of three children - is in need of a new tire for her 12+ year old car. She is currently riding on the donut and that is a risk as she does not have a spare. She tried to find a used tire but no luck. The tire size needed is 205/70/15. If you have this size tire - please let us know. Thank you for reading this!

Neighbor in Need - Elderly Man is in need of a car battery for his 20+ year old car. His current battery will not hold a charge. Storfa's Service is willing to install the battery for free. Thank you Ike and Terri!

Neighbor in Need - 3/6 NEW UPDATE SEE BELOW: Heart of Montana, A Local Non-Profit Organization, is in need of Pet Food donations for the area's Pet Food Bank. The food is given away free of charge to low income pet owners. Currently they have very little pet food on hand. Any kind of pet food is appreciated. You can drop off donations of per food at organization's office 80663 U S Highway 87 or you can contact My Neighbor in Need at 553-0077 and we can arrange to pick it up your donation and get it to them UPDATE - WE HAVE ANOTHER DONOR WHO DELIVERED A 40LB BAG OF PET FOOD THIS MORNING. THANK YOU! WE ARE REPOSTING THIS NEED REQUEST AS THEY NEED MORE PLEDGES OF PET FOOD. Thank you very much!
