Neighbor in Need - My Neighbor in Need - Your Local Organization who helps those in need connect with those who wish to help - is in need of help... The truck that we use to deliver items to our neighbors in need has had three things go wrong with it in the past two weeks. The first two repairs we were able to raise the money to pay for. However, Tuesday while we were in the country picking up a donated table for a neighbor in need - the truck died. We had to be towed back into GF. The in-tank fuel pump broke and the fuel lines and connectors were rusted and had to be replaced. Carnahan's Auto Repair is doing the repair at cost to help us, but even at cost the price is $364.20 and that amount is very hard for us to handle. We are asking for help paying for the repair. Neighbor in Need - Disabled and has some medical issues but does work part time - is in need of a few pieces of furniture for her and her son. They need: a used/clean full size mattress and box spring, a used/clean couch, a used/clean loveseat and a small kitchen table and a couple of chairs. My Neighbor in Need is able to provide the couch and love seat. Therefore we are in need of just the kitchen table and a couple of chairs and the full size mattress and box spring. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Young Family with a 2 year old are in need of help with getting some diapers and wipes. The Father works seasonal and is waiting for it to warm up before he can get back to work. Mom is hoping to go back to school to try and better their lives. Neighbor in Need - Very, very low income, Lady is in need of help getting a storage unit for just one month. Because of her situation, she is having to move into the mission. She has no one to help her and no means to pay for a storage unit at this time. My Neighbor in Need is going to help her move the small amount of her things into the small storage unit but she cannot afford the $35 rent. Once she gets into the mission, her situation will get better and she will be able to pay the monthly rent. All she needs to get her things into storage so she can make this needed change. Neighbor in Need - Single Mother just got into low income housing and now has her own apartment. However she has very little. What she does have are things for her kids but nothing for herself. She is in need of a used/clean queen size bed, couch, love seat, TV and TV stand. If you have any of these items and wish to help - please let us know. God Bless.

Neighbor in Need - I am in a verbal and emotionally abusive situation. For my own safety I have decided to get out now. I have family in another city in MT and I have saved enough money to get a ride there. I however have to leave my stuff behind for a few months until my family and I can afford to rent a u-haul truck and come and get my things. I have all of my things boxed up and My Neighbor in Need - Good Deed Doers are going to help me move my things into a storage unit. I am in need of help paying for the storage unit for two months. Because of the situation I am in I do not have time to have a garage sale and a lot of my items are very personal and I do not want to part with them. Neighbor in Need - I am suffering from Generalized Dystonia. My doctor in GF has done all that he can and he has referred me to a specialist in Spokane. I have to be in Spokane on April 8 and I will have to stay the night as my appointment is late in the day and I cannot drive at night. I don't receive or have any kind of monetary income other than food stamps. I am currently fighting for SSDI. I am homeless and have be living with family for the past few years. My sister has offered me the use of her vehicle to go but I need to pay for the gas and motel stay while I am there. I have managed to save up enough to pay for one night at a motel. I just need help with the gas to get there and back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU ARE ASKED TO PURCHASE A GAS CARD FROM ANY TOWN PUMP. Although she will need a total of $100 in fuel to get there and back - you can offer to help her with any amount of support towards the gas. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - UPDATE - SEE BELOW: Vietnam Veteran, just moved into his own small apartment and has very little. He is in need of two, used table lamps, two end tables and some pots/pans. UPDATE - We just received a pledge for a couple pots and pans and a second donor has pledged two end tables - so we are now just seeking two used lamps.

Neighbor in Need - Disabled adult son just lost his Father here in GF. No other local family. He is staying at an economy motel trying to get his dad's things taken care of. There is no money and the son cannot stay much longer at the motel due to lack of money. His dad placed a lot of things into a storage unit before he died. Now the storage unit bill is due and there are no funds to pay for it. He is in need of $35 to pay the storage place by the 29th. Then he can take a moment and try and figure out what to do with his dad's stuff. Because this is an immediate need and has a timeline, My Neighbor in Need (MNIN) will go to the storage place and pay the $35 on Wednesday morning the 27th. Neighbor in Need - Disabled, Senior Man is in need of help getting his fridge working again. The fridge keeps cold BUT too cold and it freezes up. Affordable Appliance Repair went there and the defroster heater is broken. The defroster heater can be replaced and the fridge serviced for $100. Neighbor in Need - Immediate Need! The parents of a young teenager are in need of immediate assistance so they can go to Shodair Children's Hospital to see their daughter THIS Saturday. The daughter is able to have visitation this weekend. The daughter was just admitted this week. The parents have very limited funds as the mom is disabled and the dad is self employed but the work is seasonal. They are in need of help paying for a night stay in a motel. Neighbor in Need - I took it upon myself to adopt my daughter's friend from school who had a bad home life. She has been living with us for 3 months now. She is a great kid. The bed she came with isnt in good shape. It needs to go in trash and im afraid its going to start to hurt her back with all the problems. She is in need of a used/clean Full Size Bed - mattress, box springs and frame. If possible, if she could get some beding too, it would be wionderful. She is a great addition to my family and i want her to feel as comfortable as possible. Items Needed: Furniture: full size bed and if possible bedding. Neighbor in Need - Attention Project Minded People..... A single mom with two kids has been chosen to get a house through the self-help program at NeighborWorks. In order to qualify she must help build the house. However, she does not know many people and has no available family to help her. She and her kids need our help! We are seeking people who can give a couple of hours on either Wednesday Evenings or Saturday mornings/afternoons. No building experience is required - just a fun and kind attitude.
