Neighbor in Need - Elderly Woman on a low income - is in need of help with a car repair so she can have her air conditioner work properly. The garage she selected was able to repair the air flow and she was able to pay for part of the repair, but is in need of help paying for the balance of $87.50. Because of the high temps in GF, My Neighbor in Need wanted to help her immediately so we paid the bill so she could have her car repaired. Neighbor in Need - Elderly woman needs a used/clean full or queen size bed (mattress and box spring). We have run out of full and queen size beds so we are posting this in hopes of finding a donor. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Very Low Income - is in need of a used/clean couch. She lost home in fire and has moved into a mobile home. She did not have insurance on the house.

Neighbor in Need - Caring Mother is in need of help paying for a car repair. She has the parts but needed a professional to install them. Chuck at Carnahan's Auto Repair was able to install several parts including an oil pan, tie-rod and axle for a discounted price of $264.14. Mom is able to pay $68.14 and My Neighbor in Need is able to pay $55, with another donation of $10, leaving a balance of just $135 and she can have her car repaired - which she needs very much! Neighbor in Need - Family in Need - Low income with medical issues - is in need of help to pay for a repair to their unsafe van door. The door will not open due to the handle being broken. It is an old van so finding viable parts is difficult however Chuck at Carnahan's Auto Repair is able to replace the entire handle and make the door work for a deeply discounted price of $65.40. Neighbor in Need - I am in need of a used washer and dryer. I am a single mother of a two year old and about to have another baby in the next month. I'm currently unemployed and honestly can't afford to wash our clothes at the laundry mat, and having a newborn will make it even more difficult. Thank You.

Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Parents of a young child are in need of a used, smaller sized kitchen table and three chairs. The Dad works but it is for a low income and mom has medical issues and receives SSDI. In addition, if possible, they asked for a used computer-type chair as she does paperwork on line. UPDATE: A caring donor is able to provide the needed computer chair, so all we are in need of now is the kitchen table and three chairs. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - I am a mother of a almost two year old and pregnant with another one on the way my fiance passed away February 25th this year two days before my birthday. I'm trying to get my house ready for the baby, but I do not have a washer and dryer any more because they both broke last year and are unfixable. Our bedroom has an over abundance of dirty clothes in it. I have no way to a laundry mat due no working vehicle so I do what I can when my mom can give me rides. I would really be grateful if someone could help, I just feel that without my fiance, I will not ever catch up enough to get new ones.

Neighbor in Need - Senior is in need of having her porch painted, as it is her responsibility to keep up on this. She physically cannot do this task, so we need some volunteers to get this done.

Neighbor in Need - I am a widow, senior citizen, living on Social Security. I recently broke my foot and I am in need of help having my yard mowed. It is a large lot in Sun Prairie and will need at minimum, a riding mower. Jeremy from Grass Whackers inspected the yard and it will take a full team to do this job - but Grass Whackers will do the entire job for a deeply discounted price of $55. Neighbor in Need - UPDATE - SEE BELOW: Single mom is in need of help paying for a used tire and rim for her car. She is currently using a spare that is not the same size. Jerry Nobel Tire Factory has a used tire and rim that will fit her car and is able to provide it for $200. She has half of the money but is asking for help with the balance of $100. UPDATE - WE HAVE TWO DONORS WHO HAVE PLEDGED A TOTAL OF $40 TOWARDS THIS NEED. WE NOW SIMPLY NEED HELP WITH $60 AND SHE CAN GET HER TIRE/RIM. Neighbor in Need - UPDATE - SEE BELOW: Elderly Lady on a very low fixed income is in need of replacing her fridge. Her current fridge has been slowly dying for about a month. It needs a new motor but the price is too high for the repair and parts. The current temp in her fridge is approaching 50 degrees and that is not safe. Therefore she needs a used/working standard size fridge. Thanks to a wonderful donor we have delivered a "new to her" working fridge - however we are in need of help paying $60 for the White's Appliance Repair who went to her home and work on the fridge to determine what was broken and needed repair/replacement. UPDATE - WE HAVE A DONOR WHO HAS OFFERED TO PAY $15 TOWARDS THIS NEED - NOW WE NEED HELP WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE OF $45. Neighbor in Need - UPDATE - SEE BELOW: Single grand mother is going to be raising two grand children ages 3 and 6. They have moved into an apartment and they have very, very little furniture. The grand mother lives on SSI. They are in need of any of the following items: a used/clean queen bed, two twin beds, two dressers and a couch. UPDATE - WE HAVE A DONOR WHO IS PROVIDING THE DRESSERS. Don and his wife Tanya moved to Great Falls 3 months ago from Tenn. They moved into an apartment a month ago and were homeless before then. Opportunities Inc. has helped them with vouchers for furniture, however, they cannot find a vacuum or dresser. Don is working but after child support and rent he only has $25 left. Tanya is waiting on disability.
