Neighbor in Need - Single Mother of two has received a furniture voucher for the Angel Room. She has found a couch, loveseat and a bed, but she has no way of getting these items to her apartment. If she does not take them today these items will go to someone else. She is in immediate need of someone with a truck and a strong back willing to help her. Thanks

Neighbor in Need - Hard working man - is in need of a small hand power sander so he can refurbish thrown out furniture which he then can use. It is cheaper to refurbish than to buy new. My Neighbor in Need tried to find a used sander but no luck. A new one is available at Wal-Mart for just $24.88, but he cannot afford that right now.

SEE BELOW - Aging Gentleman with Cancer - is in need of financial help to pay the rent for an outdoor storage place to store his pop-up camper over for six months to a year. Because of the lack of room on his property, the camper is illegally parked in his front yard and someone called in a complaint to the city. Neighbor in Need - Hard working young man was involved in a car accident that was not his fault. His 15 year old car was totaled and the insurance from the at fault driver is dragging their feet. This young man works full- time earning just above minimum wage buthe works at night so there is no bus service, therefore he is currently borrowing a car from his friend, but the car is a gas guzzler and he is in need of help with fuel. Neighbor in Need - Very Hardworking Mom, has been through more than most of us could handle. Medical issues including major surgery and her limited insurance caused a huge financial problem for her and her son. Now her car has broken down and there is no way to pay for a repair. Her car had to be towed to Carnahan's. Because of her working hours there is no bus service available to her. Here is some good news... Her car can be repaired! My Neighbor in Need - March 3rd UPDATE - SEE BELOW: YOUR local Good Deed Doer organization is in need of two, used/clean Queen size Beds (Mattress, Box Springs and Frames if possible). In addition, we are requesting two Full size Beds (Mattress, Box Springs and Frames if possible). We have received calls for help with these items from several members of our community in need of beds beginning February 21st. So we are trying to get them now so we can act fast when the call for assistance comes. March 3rd UPDATE: WE HAVE PICKED UP TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND THEY WILL BE DELIVERED TO THOSE IN NEED THIS WEEK. Neighbor in Need - Single Mom, on a low income, but starting to see the light at the end of a long and traumatic tunnel - is finally going to get her own safe place to live. She had to move all of her things into a storage unit while she prepares the new place to be livable. What little savings she had was used for getting the new place, so she is in need of help paying for the rent of the storage unit for just two months.
