My Neighbor in Need- Hard working lady, with very limited income, is in need of a gas card to get to seek work. We verified her drivers license, registration, and insurance. Because she needed this immediately, we purchased the $30.00 gas card for her. We are asking help with the cost of the gas card. My Neighbor in Need - Single mother of two, who has resumed employment is in great need to have the snow removed from her vents on the roof of her trailer house so the furnace can work safely. A utility company went there and confirmed the furnace is working but the vents are clogged with snow and therefore it cannot work properly. Because she just started back to work, she does not have the capacity to pay a company to come out and help her. Our friends at Jack of all Trades Handyman Services is able to go there today and clear all of the vents at a discounted price of $70. My Neighbor in Need- Elderly woman, on a fixed income, needs her door repaired. Due to the freezing weather conditions, the frigid temperatures have caused ice buildup, affecting the door from opening or closing completely. The state of the door could pose a health and safety concern. On a fixed income, she does not have the funds to pay what companies are currently charging. Our friends at Jack of all Trades Handyman Services, can inspect her door, and make the necessary repairs to keep her safe. Jack of all Trades can complete this repair at a discounted price of $50. My Neighbor in Need - Senior lady had hip replacement surgery and now is in need of a raised toilet seat and a shower chair with handles. Thanks to a kind donation from the Hampton-Collins Memorial Foundation Trust, we were able to purchase both of these items for a discounted price from our friends at Clark's Orthopedics. Thank you goes out to the donor and Clark's Orthopedics.

My Neighbor in Need-Young man high functioning, with special needs, working part time is in need of a new car battery to get back and forth to work. Because of the unique location of the battery in his car, the installation of a new battery requires an actual auto repair shop. LOCAL NON-PROFIT NEEDS HELP FINDING A COMMERCIAL OFFICE TO CALL HOME - Healthy Mothers - Healthy Babies, a small nonprofit who works with children in foster care and their families, is in need of renting a commercial office space to call home. They need approximately 1200 sq. feet with several parking spaces and they prefer being on the Transit bus route. They are seeking a monthly rent amount of $600 or up to $900 if utilities are included.
