Neighbor in Need - EXCITING UPDATE - SEE BELOW Wonderful Caring Neighbor who is blind. He lives in a older home with limited old furnishings. He spends 90% of his time in his bedroom sitting in his recliner chair. Unfortunately it is in very bad shape and it is causing him rashes as the upholstery is worn out and completely off in places. He is in need of a new/used in good condition recliner chair but has no means to get one or pay for one. If you have one or would like to help pay for one please let us know ASAP. Our friends at Conlins Furniture can find us one at a deeply discounted price. UPDATE: WE HAVE A DONOR WHO WANTS TO HELP BUY HIM A NEW CHAIR AND HAS PLEDGED $100 TOWARDS A NEW CHAIR. THEREFORE WE ARE ASKING FOR OTHER FINANCIAL PLEDGES TO FULFILL THIS NEED. WE CAN BUY HIM A NEW CHAIR FOR $200 SO WE ONLY NEED ANOTHER $100 AND WE WILL MAKE HIS YEAR!!!

Family in Need - Low Income Family is in need of a used/working washing machine. They could not save enough to buy one so they tried to rent one but the monthly payments were simply too much.

Neighbor in need is a family of 7 father is disabled and mom works several jobs to make ends meet. While they have managed to get everything else they need for their home they are still in need of a couch and/or loveseat

Neighbor in Need - Senior, Disabled Vet on a low fixed income. He has has been through multiple surgeries and he is in need of a used/clean recliner chair. His current chair is broken and cannot be repaired.

Neighbor in need is a working mom who is in need of a twin size mattress for her son. She has a bed but does not have a mattress for it. She would very much appriciate help in this area.

Neighbor in need is an elderly lady who is in need of a bed. She has had many current medical bills and is not able to purchase one herself.

Neighbor in Need - Elderly gentleman who is in need of a 20-inch gas stove. His friends and family have looked everywhere and done everything they could to find one. The only place they were able to find one was at Eklands. They were allowed by Eklands to put the one they had on layaway. The cost on the stove and instalation is $429. The family and friends have raised some of the money all but are in need of help with the balance of $250. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY EKLAND'S DIRECTLY.

Neighbor in need needs a 6x20 feet of roof patched using some felt and roofing cement for a total cost of $51.48. the roofing blew off during the wind. he would also need help instaling it.

Neighbor in need is a woman who suffers from mental illness. She has been seeing a counselor but because of insurance she is not able to continue going. She has discovered that working cratively helps a great deal with her mental health issues but she does not have the money to purchase the supplies she is in need of ceramic, paint, paint brushes and gloss spray.

My husband is a sr. Airman and I am a recent college graduate having a difficult time finding a job. We are just starting out, and living paycheck to paycheck. We are having some problems with our car that will soon be a serious problem. Our front passanger tire win't hold more than 22 psi of air, and we can't afford to replace it. Also, the heat in our car won't work. I have no idea what we're going to do or how much it will cost to fix. I'm scared for when it starts to get very cold.

Neighbor in need is a young man in need of tires for his car. The tire size is 215-65-15. He needs to have his car in order to go to work.

Neighbor in Need - Elderly Father is in need of a used/working recliner chair. His daughter informed us that he will not sleep in his bed - he only sleeps in his current old and broken chair causing his legs and feet to swell.

Neighbor in Need: Single mother of two girls ages 7 and 8. I have been laid off work due to business slowing down. I am in desperate need to get them both a pair of waterproof winter snow boots and a good winter coat. I cannot afford to even go to Goodwill right now due to being laid off. If you are willing to help it would be great. I am willing to work it off shoveling, cleaning, etc. - whatever i can do.

Neighbor in Need - Middle Age Woman Living on the Streets - is in need of a good warm winter coat in a size medium, a women's winter boots in a size 5 and gloves in a size medium/large. She has crowd issues so she is unable to stay at the Mission. Pastor Chuck at the Christian Drop In Center on 5th St. South will get the items to her.

Neighbor in Need - Elderly man who was hospitalized in CICU. He was very ill but he is now back home recovering. Because of his illness and time away from work he lost his job. He is doing much better now but has fallen behind on his electric bill. Because of his health issues he struggles when the weather turns cold. The bill is $321.94.
