My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW - Young family with a small child is in need of assistance with their power bill. They had been maintaining their finances until he was laid off late last summer. He has since gotten another part-time job, however, they were behind and are now trying to catch up. They made a payment arrangement with the power company and are not able to make the installment this month on time. The total due was $130.06. They were able to pay $30 toward this payment so My Neighbor in Need paid the additional amount of $100.06. Now My Neighbor in Need is asking for reimbursement of $100.06 so that we can help the next immediate need. UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED A DONATION OF $40 SO NOW WE ONLY NEED $60.06. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE – SEE BELOW: An older Veteran in need of regular specialty medical care was in need of immediate food assistance. He has moved to Great Falls for ongoing medical services. When he needed food assistance, every agency that would have been able to help him was closed for the President’s holiday. Therefore, he contacted My Neighbor in Need in hopes of help. My Neighbor in Need deemed this an emergency need and immediately purchased and delivered $94 in groceries. UPDATE – A caring donor contributed $44 therefore we are asking for help to reimburse My Neighbor in Need $50 so we can assist with the next emergency need. Neighbor in need - older woman, who is staying at the mission, is in need of bus passes so she can get around town. A monthly bus pass cost $30 from the Great Falls Transit District. If you would like to help with this need you can donate $30 to My Neighbor in Need and we will purchase the bus pass for him.
