My Neighbor in Need - Senior man with medical issues is in need of a bus pass so he can continue to get to his doctor appointments. He filed for disability and is waiting to be approved but his limited resources have run out and he simply cannot walk to see his doctor. My Neighbor in Need - Disabled lady living on a very low and fixed income, is in need of a standard size microwave oven. Our Good Deed Doers have looked for a used one but the only one we could find was too large, therefore we are asking for a donation of $49 so we can buy her a new one in time for Thanksgiving. My Neighbor in Need - Homeless man with major medical issues, staying at the mission, is in need of a bus pass so he can get see his doctor. He is hoping to be approved for disability soon but in the meantime, with the colder weather, he is no longer able to walk to his doctor's office. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Senior lady with numerous medical issues and disabilities, is in need of a new walker. The walker she is currently using is very old and unsafe for her limited physical abilities. Our Good Deed Doers called around to try and find a used walker, but were not able to find one. Therefore, we are asking for help to buy her a new walker ASAP. Our friends at Clark's Orthopedics in Great Falls can provide her with a new, all-wheel seated walker for a discounted price of $75. UPDATE: A caring donor came into our office and paid $10 toward this need. Thank you so much! Therefore we are asking for help with the balance of $65. My Neighbor In Need - Hard working man is in need of a gently used/clean or new Full Bed System (mattress and box spring). Although he does work, it is only part time and for low wages. He is currently sleeping on the floor with blankets. Conlin's Furniture can provide him with a new bed for a discounted price of $220 and they will deliver and set it up for free. Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Senior, disabled lady with medical issues, living on a low, fixed income is in need of a used/clean or new firm queen size mattress. Only a firm mattress will work due to her medical condition. The Good Deed Doers at My Neighbor in Need tried to find a used firm queen mattress but were successful. Therefore we are asking for help so we can buy her a new firm mattress in time for Thanksgiving. Conlin's Furniture can provide a new firm mattress for a discounted price of $325 and will deliver and set it up for free. UPDATE: WE HAD ANOTHER CARING DONOR DONATE $25 TO BE APPLIED TOWARDS THIS NEED. Therefore we are seeking help with the balance of $275. Our friends at Carnahan's Auto Repair was able to fix all of it for a discounted price of $1,800. We need this truck to be able to do our mission. We have had several donors donate a total of $1,230.00 towards this need. However, we need help with the balance of $570.00. Their 40-year old oven is no longer working and cannot be repaired.
