My Neighbor In Need- Unemployed homeless man is in need of gas for his generator to keep his motor home warm. Because of the urgency of the situation we fulfilled this need right away by providing a $50 gas card. We are now requesting a donation of $50 so that we may help the next person in need. My Neighbor In Need - Caring Woman with some disabilities and medical conditions, is in need of getting her car repaired. Both her driver's and passenger windows will no longer open. We have verified her license, registration and insurance. She is only asking for her driver's window to be repaired. The window motor is broken and needs to be replaced. Carnanhan's can do the entire repair for a discounted price of $169.40 and she is able to scrape together $40 towards the need. Therefore, we only need help with the balance of $129.40. UPDATE: WE HAVE A GENEROUS DONATION OF $50 FOR THIS NEED, so we are looking for the remaining balance of $97.40. You are not required to provide all of the needed amount. My Neighbor in Need - I am a case worker, working with a senior lady with disabilities and medical issues. She is in great need of a new twin size sleep system (mattress and box spring). She is currently sleeping on a very old mattress which does not provide enough support thus it aggravates her condition. Therefore, we need a new bed rather than a used bed. My Neighbor in Need - was unemployed but now has a job! However, this young man needs to get to his job site ASAP however, he does not have enough gas to get there. He has a valid license, registration and insurance but since he has been out of work, he does not have any money to fill his tank. He is in need of a $50 gas only card. Because we determined that this was an immediate need, My Neighbor in Need provided the gas card and he left for his job. Now we are asking for help to reimburse us for the cost of the gas card so we can be ready to help the next fulfill the next immediate need. My Neighbor in Need - Family in Immediate Need - Due to a medical emergency, this family had to come to Great Falls to be with a male family member who was a victim of a crime. The good news is that the man will recover. However, the family used all of their limited funds to get to Great Falls and have no gas to get back home. Benefis is allowing one family member to stay overnight inside the hospital but the remaining family members are sleeping in their car. If all goes well, the family is going to go back home in a few days. They are in need of a $50 "Gas Only" card. My Neighbor in Need - Homeless, married couple trying to get to a safe place in Idaho where they have help to start over, are in need of gas to get there. They are stuck here in Great Falls. He is Army Veteran and the wife has a medical condition so they cannot be separated at night. Therefore, they have been sleeping in their car the last two nights as they try and get gas to get to Idaho. They contacted numerous LARGE Non-Profit organizations as well as two Veteran organizations in Great Falls but received no financial help. They were turned away with a couple coats, a pair of gloves and a lot of referrals to try organizations that had already had told them that they could not help due to lack of funding... Or, that since they did not live in Great Falls, they could not receive help... Facing another cold night in their car, unable to stay at together at the mission, they called United Way who did not provide any financial help but rather sent them to MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED. In less than 30 minutes, we verified their situation, approved their need and because we wanted to get them to Idaho before dark, we filled their tank and provided an additional $50 "Gas Only" card. When no one else would or could help this Veteran and his wife get their true need fulfilled, the little, locally run, MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED stepped up and answered the call for help! My Neighbor in Need - Hardworking Young Man, is in immediate need for gas so he can get to back to his work before his next pay day. He is on "E" as verified by one of our Good Deed Doers. Because he did not have enough gas to get home yet alone to work, we filled his tank for $41.00. Now, we are asking for help from the community to reimburse My Neighbor in Need the cost of the gas so we can be ready for the need immediate need request. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE: SEE BELOW Older couple with medical issues and disabilities, living on a low, fixed income are in need of help with getting their car repaired so they can get to the hospital for regular medical treatments. Their 20+ year old car needs crucial repairs to make it safe so they can get to their doctor appointments. Mobile Mechanic can do the repairs for a discounted price of $450 and the couple can pay $100 towards the bill. Therefore we are asking for help with the balance of $350. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Middle-Aged Gentleman with medical issues that have suddenly have grown in size, is in need to go back home to Texas so he can be comfortable during this time. A friend in Texas along with his church have helped with car repair costs to get him safely home but he needs help with fuel costs. My Neighbor in Need estimate that he will need $250 in gas to get there. We are seeking donations of any amount up to $250 so we can buy GAS ONLY gift cards. Two gas cards that can only be used in Montana and Wyoming, and three gas cards for Colorado and Texas. UPDATE: A caring woman called and is mailing a check for the entire amount needed.
