Neighbor in Need - Disabled adult son just lost his Father here in GF. No other local family. He is staying at an economy motel trying to get his dad's things taken care of. There is no money and the son cannot stay much longer at the motel due to lack of money. His dad placed a lot of things into a storage unit before he died. Now the storage unit bill is due and there are no funds to pay for it. He is in need of $35 to pay the storage place by the 29th. Then he can take a moment and try and figure out what to do with his dad's stuff. Because this is an immediate need and has a timeline, My Neighbor in Need (MNIN) will go to the storage place and pay the $35 on Wednesday morning the 27th. Neighbor in Need - Young Couple with two young children. Dad works but it is a low income position. They are in need of a little financial help paying for a repair to their clothes dryer. The dryer does not work well and the power cord needs to be replaced. Neighbor in Need - Disabled, Senior Man is in need of help getting his fridge working again. The fridge keeps cold BUT too cold and it freezes up. Affordable Appliance Repair went there and the defroster heater is broken. The defroster heater can be replaced and the fridge serviced for $100. Neighbor in Need - Suddenly alone mother of four children - has moved into their own place but they have only a few things. They are in need of two, used/clean twin beds, one full size bed, a couch, pots and pans and a TV and TV Stand. If you have any of these items please let us know. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Immediate Need! The parents of a young teenager are in need of immediate assistance so they can go to Shodair Children's Hospital to see their daughter THIS Saturday. The daughter is able to have visitation this weekend. The daughter was just admitted this week. The parents have very limited funds as the mom is disabled and the dad is self employed but the work is seasonal. They are in need of help paying for a night stay in a motel. Neighbor in Need - I took it upon myself to adopt my daughter's friend from school who had a bad home life. She has been living with us for 3 months now. She is a great kid. The bed she came with isnt in good shape. It needs to go in trash and im afraid its going to start to hurt her back with all the problems. She is in need of a used/clean Full Size Bed - mattress, box springs and frame. If possible, if she could get some beding too, it would be wionderful. She is a great addition to my family and i want her to feel as comfortable as possible. Items Needed: Furniture: full size bed and if possible bedding. If not bedding we well use what we have until later. Thanks

Neighbor in Need - Attention Project Minded People..... A single mom with two kids has been chosen to get a house through the self-help program at NeighborWorks. In order to qualify she must help build the house. However, she does not know many people and has no available family to help her. She and her kids need our help! We are seeking people who can give a couple of hours on either Wednesday Evenings or Saturday mornings/afternoons. No building experience is required - just a fun and kind attitude. NeighborWorks will provide the leadership and tools. We need you! This Family needs You! Young or Older, Man or Woman, Families are also encouraged to take part. Neighbor in Need - I am a caregiver and I have an older lady with very limited means. She will be moving into a facility with small rooms. She is in need of a used/clean complete twin bed including a firm mattress, box spring and frame. Because this will be her first time in a twin bed she will also need twin size bedding including a comforter. She simply cannot afford any of this and would be soooo thankful if someone could help her. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Family in Need - Employeed Mother of four - Husband works in construction and he will start back up in May. The Wife is in immediate need of some gas to get her to and from work until Monday when she gets paid. She lives about 25 miles outside of GF so it takes a lot of gas to get/from work. He is curently sleeping on an old futon and a very soft mattress making it difficult to get into and out of bed. He has offered to donate his futon to My Neighbor in Need if we can find him a firm twin bed. Very Cool!
