Neighbor in Need - Mom and Dad just had a baby with major medical issues. The baby was flown to Seattle for multiple procedures. The parents are scheduled to drive to be with their newborn this weekend but the tires on their SUV are beyond bald and are unsafe to drive in GF let alone through the passes. Dad does work but they have no savings to pay for this emergency and are in great need of new tires so they can be with their baby. My Neighbor in Need has confirmed all of the details with the baby's doctor. Superior Tire can supply them with four new tires for a discounted price of $140 per tire ($560 set). We already have a pledge of $150 and My Neighbor in Need is able to provide $100 from the Trust Savings Account - but we need help with the balance of $310. IF YOU CAN THIS FAMILY GET TO THEIR CHILD - YOU ARE ASKED TO PLEDGE ANY AMOUNT. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY SUPERIOR TIRE DIRECTLY. Any offer of help will make such a huge difference. Thank you all!

Neighbor in Need - Working Hard but only part-time - Father of two boys. 6 and 3 years old is in need of help with some gas. What little he brings home only covers the rent and some limited food. He has applied for food help but he is almost out of gas. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO BUY A $40 GAS CARD FROM MOUNTAIN VIEW CO-OP ON SMELTER AVE ACROSS FROM THE REFINERY. Neighbor in Need - Senior lady, just moved into her own apartment, does not have anything - is in need of a used/clean twin size bed, couch and living room chair. The bed is the most important item at this time. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Single Father of Two School-Aged Children - is in need of ways to feed his children. They are staying a motel and the father does have a job, but there is no way to cook for his family at the motel so they have to eat out which is too much for them to afford. This is just a temporary situation for another three weeks as the father will have saved enough to get their own place with a kitchen so he can cook. My Neighbor in Need purchased $200 in "Food Only" give cards through the Trust Savings Account to help this family in need. We are now asking for help from the community to reimburse the Trust Savings Account so we can be prepared to help another Neighbor in Need. If you can help us - you will be asked to pay My Neighbor in Need directly. Any amount will help us. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: My Neighbor in Need is working with a social service professional who has a client who need our help. The husband and wife are both disabled and have moved into a handicapped accessible apartment but it is only set up to accept a stacking washing machine & dryer. Since they were unable to use their existing standard size washer & dryer they gave their washing machine and dryer to someone who needed it. They have looked for months for a viable stackable W&D but no luck. My Neighbor in Need was able to located a used but good condition unit with a warranty at Saint Vincent DePaul for a deeply discounted price of $195. Using donations from the Trust Savings Account - My Neighbor in Need purchased the set for this couple. Now we are hoping that a donor(s) will reimburse the Trust Savings Account so we can continue to offer help and hope. UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED A PLEDGE FOR $95 FROM A CARING DONOR SO ALL WE NEED IS $100 AND THIS REQUEST CAN BE FULFILLED. Any amount will help! Thank you very much.

Neighbor in need - Single mother of three young boys is in need of used mattress - one full size and one twin size for a bunk bed frame that she already has. Until she can get them the kids are sleeping on the floor. Conlin's Furniture is able to provide BOTH new mattresses for a grand total of $199 - and My Neighbor in Need, using funds from the Trust Savings Account - can get them for her right now or you can pay Conlin's Furniture direct. My Neighbor in Need - Family in Need - Suddenly single mom with several kids is in desperate need of food for the family. The father is out and is not helping with anything so the mom who has medical issues but still works part time to try and survive. They have been to the food banks and received some assistance but with many mouths to feed what they received goes fast. My Neighbor in Need met with her and verified the living condition. This was approved as an Immediate Need. Therefore My Neighbor in Need went and purchased and delivered $112.62 worth of groceries. Now we are asking for help to reimburse the Trust Savings Account so we are ready to answer the call for help. If you can help you are asked to pay My Neighbor in Need directly. Thank you.
