Neighbor in Need - Hard working - Single Mom with three kids - just moved into her own place - and has very little. Her biggest need is a used/clean queen size bed (mattress and box spring) and a used/clean standard size couch. Thank you all and Merry Christmas!

Neighbor in Need - Family in Need - their older car's battery has simply died due to the cold streak last week. They are in need of a new battery but cannot afford it. Carnahan's Auto Service is able to install a new battery for a discounted price of $115. If you can help you will be asked to pay Carnahan's directly. Thank you.

ATTENTION!!!! CENTER FOR MENTAL HEALTH IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS WITH PAINTING EXPERIENCE TO HELP PAINT THE INTERIOR WALLS OF SIX SMALL, MOTEL TYPE UNITS FOR CLIENTS OF CENTER FOR MENTAL HEALTH. EACH UNIT REQUIRES A THREE PERSON TEAM AND TAKES ABOUT FOURS TO ROLL/PAINT. ALL OF THE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED AND THERE IS A FORMAN THAT WILL WORK WITH THE VOLUNTEERS. WE JUST NEED THE BODIES TO FINISH THESE UNITS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED. WE WOULD LIKE TO BEGIN PAINTING THIS MONDAY, DECEMBER 16TH AND CONTINUE UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE OR NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 19TH - BEFORE THE COLD RETURNS. IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE CALL FRED AT 750-6285. Neighbor in Need - NEW UPDATE SEE BELOW: Family in Need - MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED HAS CONFIRMED THE MEDICAL ISSUES AND NEED FOR THE TRIP. - My 11yr old son has to have heart surgery in Seattle at the childrens hospital, he's at high risk for aortic aneurysm right now. We will be traveling by car but we cannot afford the gas to get there and back. Nor do I have any money for food while I am there. The hospital will allow me to stay in his room on a couch, but we will be there for 10 days but I need help with the travel and food costs. MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED IS ASKING FOR THE COMMUNITY'S HELP WITH PLEDGES TO GAS CARDS AND SUB-WAY FOOD CARDS. It will take about $250 in gas and $150 in meal cards - for a total of $400. NEW UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE TWO CARING DONORS WHO ARE PROVIDING $300 TOWARDS THIS NEED. THEREFORE WE ARE SEEKING HELP WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE OF $100. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY IT ALL - SIMPLY TELL US HOW MUCH YOU WISH TO CONTRIBUTE AND WE WILL BUY THE GAS AND FOOD CARDS. Any $$ will make a huge difference. Thank you very much!

Neighbor in need - Senior mother on low income -is in need of a new or used/clean Twin Bed System (mattress and box spring). Her bed is extremely old and does not provide any support. Conlin's Furniture is able to provide her with a new Twin Bed System at a discounted price
