Neighbor in Need - Family in Need! This is an immediate need!!! JANUARY 30TH - UPDATE SEE BELOW - Struggling family has been dealt another bad blow. Their son has an ill heart and now he has to go to Salt Lake City, UT on the 5th of February to have a defibrillator placed in his heart. My Neighbor in Need has received all of the documents verifying the need and the reason for the trip. With the sudden notice of this condition, the family cannot afford to make this trip as it will require gas, food and lodging however, they have to go. Therefore we are asking for help with pledges of any amount so My Neighbor in Need can go and buy fuel and food cards and give them to this family. It will take $200 in gas to get there and back and we are estimating $300 in food costs. If we can help with the gas and food, they can take care of the lodging as they do get a discount on rooms since they are there for medical procedures. JAN 30TH UPDATE - WE NOW HAVE 5 WONDERFUL DONORS THAT HAVE pledged $400, Thank you to the donors! We are hoping for just $100 more help. IF YOU CAN HELP WE ARE ASKING FOR IMMEDIATE PLEDGES OF ANY AMOUNT PAYABLE TO MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED. They must depart this Monday, Feb 3rd as his appointment is on the 5th. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!!!!

Neighbor in Need - Young man, having to start life over with a new job and a new place to live, is in need of a used/clean or new Twin Bed System (mattress and box spring). He currently is staying on a roommate's couch but it is not very comfortable. Conlin's Furniture can provide this hardworking man with a new bed for a discounted price of $160 (mattress and box spring). If you can help him begin his second chance at life - you are asked to pay Conlin's Furniture directly. You are not required to pay the entire amounted needed. Neighbor in Need - Senior+ lady with serious health problems and a very low income is in need of a new, complete Twin Bed (mattress, box spring and frame). She currently has a very old bed, mattress, box spring and frame. The mattress and box spring have broken down. Neighbor in Need - Single mother of two. She recently went back to work from maternity leave and can not afford to put gas in her vehicle. She just used what little money she had for diapers and food. Her last paycheck was only one week of pay and all went to rent. She does not get paid for another week and she need to get to work. Neighbor in Need - This request for help came in through the individual's medical case worker... Neighbor in Need has chronic back pain and to make it worse, he does not have a bed. He is currently sleeping on his couch. He is in great need of a complete, used/clean or new, Full Size Bed System (mattress, box spring and frame). Because of his back issues we are hoping that we can find a new "Firm" bed for this well deserving man! He could also use sheets, linens and pillows as he does not have any bedding. He is on a fixed income and does not have the means to buy a bed or the linens. Conlin's Furniture can provide a new, Firm Full Size Bed with mattress, box spring and frame for a discounted price of $220. If you can help him, you will be asked to pay Conlin's Furniture directly. Neighbor in Need - Unemployed, Single Mom, is expecting a baby soon - is living at the mission while waiting for an opening for an apartment - is in need of a clean or new body pillow. Due to her physical condition, sleeping is very difficult. A body pillow would mimic her body and allow her to sleep on her side. Wal-Mart sells a Body Pillow for around $21, but she cannot afford to buy one. Thank you.

Neighbor in Need - Husband and Wife recently moved in with the Father who is ill and needs full-time care. Husband works part-time but they receive no other financial assistance and are hurting. They need a used/working dryer as their 10+ year old dryer does not work any more and they cannot afford one. Thank you.

His apartment is very small and does not have a stove/oven, so he is requesting a hot plate to be able to cook meals at home. My Neighbor in Need can go and purchase a Hot Plate for $39.95.
