Neighbor in Need - UPDATE - SEE BELOW: Family in Need! Disabled Family with Mom and Dad on a low fixed income have two children one with Major Medical Issues. They are in need of help with gas and meal cards so they can take their child to Seattle for treatment at the Children's Hospital. He suffers from a difficult seizure disorder and the family has to go there every six-months and they just cannot afford to go right now. They have to leave in April. My Neighbor in Need has confirmed the details of this need with the child's doctor. WE ARE SEEKING PLEDGES OF ANY AMOUNT SO WE CAN PURCHASE $300 IN GAS CARDS AND $200 IN MEAL/FOOD GIFT CARDS. UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED A PLEDGE OF $350 FROM AN AMAZING DONORS. NOW WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF HELP RAISING THE BALANCE OF $150. Any amount will help this family. Thank you so much.

Neighbor in Need - Caring Man - looking for a job has gotten into a single apartment but is having to sleep on the floor and eat at the mission as he does not have a Bed or anyway to cook in his place. Neighbor in Need - Disabled Senior and his wife are in great need of help with their power bill. Due to medical issues and overall low fixed income, they have fallen behind. However, Dave at My Neighbor in Need was able to speak with Northwest Energy and work out a payment plan. The plan was accepted by both parties will begin on March 29th. However, to start the plan they need help making the first payment of $197 which must be postmarked by March 29th. We have set up the payment plan to allow the balance owed to be divided by three continuous payments beginning in late April. The Neighbors in Need will be able to keep the plan going but without the first payment the plan is cancelled and the entire past due amount will be owed or their power will be shut off. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY NORTHWESTERN ENERGY directly. Thank you very much for helping these folks.

Neighbor in need - Older disabled lady is in need of a bed for her daughter who is having to stay with her due to medical reasons. She is in need of a used/clean or new, complete Twin Size Bed System (mattress, box spring and frame). The frame is need to elevate the bed so she can get in and out of bed safely.
