Neighbor in Need - APRIL 10TH UPDATE SEE BELOW: I am a case worker at Benefis and I have a young adult who is a heart transplant recipient. She received this transplant as a young girl. She is on a very low, fixed income. Her condition appears stable at this time, however, she has is closely monitored by her various physicians for side effects which are common concerns for heart transplant recipients. She now lives at home with her parents. She is fairly isolated due to her health condition. She recently was able to move downstairs in the family home which enables her to have somewhat of her own space for which she is grateful. She has expressed a "wish" for a new queen size mattress and box spring to replace the very old and used one she now has. She does have a bed frame to fit a queen size mattress. BRIAN AT CONLIN'S FURNITURE IS ABLE TO PROVIDE HER WITH A BRAND NEW QUEEN SIZE BED (MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING) NORMALLY PRICED AT $500+ FOR JUST $280!!! APRIL 10TH UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE TWO DONORS WHO PAID $130 TOWARDS THE NEW BED. NOW WE NEED HELP WITH THE BALANCE OF $150. If you can help her you will be asked to pay Conlin's directly. Neighbor in Need - Grand Mother drives around her four young grand kids while working thru the Tanif Program, is in need of gas for her car. She only receives $615 per month and is just a little short for gas at this time. If you can help you will be asked to by a $40 gas card from Mountain View Co-op. Thank you.

Neighbor In Need - Hardworking Lady but has terrible back pain and no longer can work. We have confirmed the details with her doctor. She is great need of a new, firm full size bed system (mattress and box spring). Due to the nature of the back issue, a used bed will not provide her with needed support. Conlin's Furniture can provide her with a new firm full size bed system for a discounted price of $220. IF YOU CAN HELP HER YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY CONLIN'S DIRECTLY. Neighbor in need - young couple with 3 kids is in need of help getting the alternator fixed in their car so that they can get to Billings for their kids appointments on the 15th. THE TOTAL CAME OUT TO BE $276 DOLLARS BUT THE FAMILY IS ABLE TO COVER $200 OF THAT COST SO WE ARE NOW ASKING FOR HELP COVERING THE OTHER $76 DOLLARS. Neighbor in Need - Elderly woman (age 83) on fixed income, needs the Handle & inner mechanism of toilet fixed in the main floor bathroom of her home. Though she has a bathroom downstairs, she can not easily get to it. She uses a walker and neither her daughter or this elderly woman is able to fix it. Temporary fix--for now-- involves her pouring water into bowl to get toilet to flush. Please help? Items Needed: materials to fix handle & its mechanism can be paid for by elderly woman, but she can not afford a plumber to do this (labor) repair work.
