Neighbor in Need, older disabled lady is in need of assistance with a temporary place to stay. She has lost her housing - at no fault of her own. She has a new place to live but not until the beginning of the month. She has several dogs, including a therapy dog. Some of the dogs have been put in foster care, however, she needs to keep her therapy dog with her so she needs to stay at a motel that is pet friendly. My Neighbor in Need is working with her case worker and our friends at the Midtown Motel have offered to help her at a very discounted rate of $30 per night ($150 total). IF YOU CAN HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY THE MIDTOWN MOTEL directly thru My Neighbor in Need. You are not required to pay the entire needed amount. Simply tell us how much you wish to contribute. Neighbor in need - Retired senior just moved into a apartment and is in need of a queen box spring and a frame. His box spring was broken in 2 places and the springs were coming through. If you have a way to help this man please tell us how. Thank you

Neighbor in Need - Immediate Need - Disabled lady with medical issues and very limited in-house mobility - is in great need of food to get her to the first of the month. She is unable to get to food banks or churches to get food baskets due to her physical condition. My Neighbor in Need went to her apartment and confirmed the desperate need for food. Because of her situation, My Neighbor in Need could not wait for the need to be posted so MNIN went and purchased $157 in food and delivered it to her. Now we are asking the community to help reimburse My Neighbor in Need the $157 so we can use that to help another of our Neighbors in Need. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU ARE ASKED TO PAY MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED directly. You are not required to pay the entire requested amount. Simply tell us how much you wish to contribute. Thank you very much.

Neighbor in need - Young, hardworking couple living on low income just got into a new place and have next to nothing. They have been sleeping on an air mattress but it is causing back pain and then they have to stand all day working in fast food. They are in need of a used/clean queen bed system (mattress and box spring). Thank you very much.

Neighbor in need - Single woman in need of gas for her vehicle so she can get to her final interview and then to work until her first payday. Because this was an emergency My Neighbor In Need assisted her with a $40 gas card. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PLEDGE $40 TO MY NEIGHBOR IN NEED, by check or another gas card from Mountain View Co-op. Thank you and God bless

Neighbor in need - hard working lady with low income is in need of someone to fix the brakes on the car. Our friends at Carnahan's Auto have looked at the vehicle and estimated the repairs to be $203.00. The Neighbor in Need was able to contribute $50.00 toward the repairs and we are asking for a donation to cover the remaining balance of $153.00. If you are able to help with this need, you will be asked either to pay Carnahan's directly or make payment to My Neighbor in Need. Thank you. God Bless.

Neighbor in Need - pregnant women needs door handle fixed on her van, and she is having to climb in from the passenger side of the van. Her husband is out of work with a work related injury, so money is tight for them. The total repair can be done at a discounted price of $130. They have been able to pay $20 towards this repair, but need assistance with the remaining balance of $110.
