Neighbor in need - Senior man on a low fixed income, is in need of a car repairs. This vehicle is his only means of transportation, and is crucial for him to use to make it to many important appointments. Falls tire can do the job at a discounted rate of $190. Neighbor in Need - Single mother with 3 children of her own has recently taken in 2 foster children and is waiting on assistance for those children. In the meantime, she has gotten behind on her electric bill and needed a little help to get caught up. My Neighbor in Need made a payment to the electric company to make sure that her power would stay on, so we are asking for reimbursement of $66.00 so that we will be able to help in the next immediate situation. Neighbor In Need: Hardworking young woman recently took in her niece and nephew and is in need of two used/clean twin beds (mattresess/box springs). My Neighbor in Need - Peace Place (Respite Care) supports and encourages families with young children who are have special needs of all kinds. Parents and foster families can have free time in the morning or evening while their young ones are lovingly cared for at our licensed center at no charge. Some of our families are unable to get to Peace Place due to car problems, no gas or lack of a bus pass. We request bus passes to have on hand to assist families in this situation so they may have the help we offer. We are asking for 10 bus passes to have on hand for families that need access to transportation to use Peace Place. If you can assist with this need, you can 1)purchase some bus passes and drop them off at My Neighbor in Need, or 2)you can donate and My Neighbor in Need will purchase bus passes. Neighbor in need - Disabled Veteran is in need of a used/clean or new complete Twin Size Bed System (mattress, box spring and frame). Conlin's Furniture can provide a complete new bed system for a discounted price of $160. If you can help you will be asked to pay Conlin's Furniture. Neighbor in Need: UPDATE: SEE BELOW Elderly physically disabled gentleman in a wheelchair is in need of a back door to his moblie home. His current back door is an interior door and does not have any insulation resulting in very cold winters. A local Contractor has already donated time and materials to construct a safe ramp for this fire exit from his bedroom. The cost of the door and installation will be $475 of which Opportunities Inc is paying for half, leaving a balance of $237.50. WE HAVE RECEIVED TWO GENEROUS DONATIONS TOTALLING OF $90 FOR THIS NEED LEAVING A BALANCE OF $147.50. Neighbor In Need - Single mother of two is trying to get on her feet is in need of a queen mattress and box spring and a twin boxspring. Because of the generosity of donors we had these items available to fulfill this need right away. We were also able to provide her with plates and cookware. Thank you for your donations!

Neighbor In Need: Hardworking couple with four young children is in need of assistance with electric bill. The Neighbor in Need made a payment arrangement with Northwestern Energy to keep his electricity on and be able to get caught up as his wife just started a new job. They needed assistance with the initial payment of $139.21. They were able to contribute $100 toward the payment, and because this need was immediate My Neighbor in Need made the additional amount of $39.21. We are asking for reimbursement to My Neighbor in Need so that we will be able to assist the next emergency need.
