Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: This is a GREAT opportunity to change a person's life! We have an older, disabled man living way below the poverty line has had Oral Cancer. Due to the Chemotherapy all of his teeth were damaged beyond repair and had to be pulled. He his toothless! The good news is he has recovered from the Cancer - but he is in great need of teeth. A wonderful local Denturist, Mark Rittenhouse (Denture Care Clinic)has offered to help provide him with a complete set of dentures at just the cost of the materials to make a custom set ($750) but the man does not have any money and no insurance. His caregiver has spoken to his family and together they can scrape up $300 towards this need but they need help with the balance of $450. Normally My Neighbor in Need is unable to try and help with this kind of need request but after speaking with his caregiver and the Denturist - we all feel compelled to try. Therefore, if you can help with any donation towards this need - it would be a blessing. No amount is too small as it will all go to help him smile. UPDATE: A CARING DONOR HAS PLEDGED $100 TOWARDFS THIS THEREFORE WE ARE IN NEED OF HELP WITH THE BALANCE OF $350. You will be asked to pay My Neighbor in Need directly. Thank you.

Neighbor in need - UPDATE - Elderly woman is in desperate need of a new or used/clean complete full sized bed system (Mattress, box spring, and frame) as she is currently sleeping on the floor. Conlin's Furniture can provide a complete new bed system for a discounted price of $255. UPDATE- We received a generous donation of $60 toward the purchase of the bed system, leaving a BALANCE REMAINING of $195. If you can help you will be asked to pay Conlin's Furniture. Neighbor in Need of an apartment size dryer. Older woman in poor health and limited income moved into an apartment that did not have a washer and dryer and the landlord is not required to provide this. She had enough money to purchase a used washer but does not have the money to purchase a dryer.
