My Neighbor in Need- UPDATE: SEE BELOW...Family in great need! A few weeks ago some heartless vandal, for no reason but their own selfless act of cowardice, cut down a family's memorial tree that was dedicated to their 13-year old daughter who passed away in 2014. This tree and plaque was more than just a couple of items, it was a place where the family would gather, share stories and find peace together. Now, they feel violated and struggle to understand why someone would do this. However, we as a community can come together and show this family that good can defeat evil. We are working with Parks and Recreation and an anonymous good deed doer and together we can replace the tree and plaque and make this family whole. The cost to replace the tree and all of the miscellaneous items is $1,000. The individual donor has offer to provide half the cost of the tree and other items. Now, My Neighbor in Need is asking for donations of any amount up to $500 so we can bring some sunshine and love to this family. We can make this happen ASAP with your help. UPDATE: We have received a donation of $50, so now we only need $450 and the need will be fulfilled!
