Neighbor in need - Elderly gentleman is in need of a gently used/working standard size fridge; his current fridge has stopped working and cannot be repaired. He is currently using a cooler with ice to store his limited food. Eklund's Appliance can provide us with the perfect size new fridge for $499 delivered and we already have a kind donor who has offered to contribute $99 of the cost therefore we only need $400 to fulfill this need. If you would like to help you can either donate a used/working fridge or pledge any amount up to $400 and we will purchase the fridge. Neighbor in need - UPDATE! Older gentleman is in need of assistance with his utility bill. He owed $231.20, Salvation Army and St. Jude's were able to cover $172.18, leaving a balance of $59.02. Because of the situation My Neighbor in Need paid the $59.02 and are now seeking reimbursement so we might help the next person in need. WE HAD A GENEROUS DONATION OF $25 LEAVING A REMAINING BALANCE OF $34.02 If you would like to help you can donate any amount up to $34.02 to My Neighbor in Need.
