My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Elderly, disabled Veteran is in immediate need of help with making his very old trailer home safe so he can continue to live there. If it cannot be repaired to minimum standards he will be forced out of his home. He is need of finished flooring for his bedroom and hallway. Because we deemed this an immediate need, our friends at Floors and More - Abbey Carpet provided and installed new finished flooring for a deeply discounted price of $950, BUT WAIT,,, they are also donated $350 off the price so we are in need of a total of $600. UPDATE: We have received two donations towards this need for $200 towards this need therefore, we only need $400 and his need will be fulfilled. You are not required to provided all of the needed amount, rather just tell us how much you wish to donated. Thank you very much. My Neighbor in Need- Young couple with four children are in need of a gently used/clean Queen Bed System (mattress and box spring). Currently, the parents are sleeping on air mattress on the floor however, it has small holes in it. My Neighbor in Need - My Neighbor in Need remains in need of pet food for both dogs and cats. Although we did receive some donations from members of our caring community along with assistance from Wal-Mart we are still struggling to meet the demand! On average we distribute 400lbs of pet food each week. If you would like to help with this need you can either donate bags of unexpired pet food to our office inside Times Square at 525 Central Ave or you can make a monetary donation of any dollar amount to My Neighbor in Need and we will purchase pet food for our free Pet Food Pantry.
