My Neighbor in Need-Unemployed gentleman, living with elderly father, due to medical reasons, is in need of a water heater. Current water heater is unable to be fixed. With help from our friends at Habitat Restore we were able to get a used water heater for a discounted price of $95.00. My Neighbor in Need- Disabled lady who has fallen into tough times, is in need of a gas card to get to Dr appointments. We have verified her driver license, registration and insurance, of which, is all current. Because it was needed immediately, we provided her with a $30 "Gas Only" gift card so she can make it to her appointments. We are asking help with the cost of the gas card. My Neighbor in Need- Disabled man with very limited income, is in need of a assistive sock device. He currently is having problems getting his socks on. Our Good Deed Doers called around to try and find a used assistive sock device, but were not able to find one. Therefore, we are asking for help to buy him a new assistive sock device ASAP. Our friends at Clark's Orthopedics in Great Falls can provide him with a new, sock device for $25. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Elderly lady on a low, fixed income is in immediate need of the removal of a very old, rotten and unsafe deck that is attached to her older trailer home. The deck is so bad, that she can no longer use the rear door to exit her trailer. Once the old deck is removed, she will need a small landing with stairs and railings so she can safely get in and out of her trailer. Our friends at Jack of all Trades Handyman Service is able to remove the old deck, haul it away, prep the area for the installation of a new landing and build and install the landing with stairs and railings for a deeply discounted price of $1,450 and the neighbor in need is able to pay $450 towards the total cost. She needs help with the remaining cost of $1,000. UPDATE: the neighbor in need paid her $450 and two caring donors have contributed a total of $200, therefore now we only need $800 and we can fulfill her need request. If you can help her, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $800 to My Neighbor in Need and we will get this need fulfilled very quickly. Remember, you are not required to provide all of the needed amount. Rather, tell us how much you wish to contribute and once we receive the total amount, we will get the work completed.
