My Neighbor in Need - My Neighbor in Need remains in need of pet food for both dogs and cats. Although we did receive some donations from members of our caring community along with assistance from Wal-Mart we are still struggling to meet the demand! On average we distribute 400lbs of pet food each week. If you would like to help with this need you can either donate bags of unexpired pet food to our office inside Times Square at 525 Central Ave or you can make a monetary donation of any dollar amount to My Neighbor in Need and we will purchase pet food for our free Pet Food Pantry. My Neighbor in Need- Single mother of one going through the TANF program is in need of help getting her car repaired. This is her only mode of transportation. We verified what needs to be repaired and Carnahan's can make the needed repairs for a discounted price of $216.62 and the Neighbor in Need is able to pay $100 toward the repair.
